New chill room for Buckie fishmarket

A chill room is to be installed at Buckie’s fishmarket with the help of funding from the Scottish Government’s European Fisheries Fund (Axis 4 programme) and Moray Council.

Council’s free debt advice service

Since the credit crunch it has become more difficult for people on low incomes to get credit from banks and other major lenders.

Heartstone, Dingwall based organisation, has successfully secured the involvement of Barrie Osborne, producer: Lord of the Rings movies, who would like to produce 4 movies from ‘The Heartstone Odyssey’ trilogy and a range of associated media products. He is coming to Scotland on 27 and 28 May en route from Cannes, to present this project to interested potential investment partners.

European Pipe Band Championships

123 Pipe Bands have registered to play in the European Pipe Band Championships.

The leaders of all political groups in Moray Council have come together to help radically reshape service delivery in the area.
