HIT Scotland have recently announced they are launching a new Tourism and Hospitality Talent Development Programme which will be funded by the Scottish Government. The programme has been designed to motivate and develop top talent in order to help with the recovery from the significant impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had across the Tourism and Hospitality sectors in Scotland.  There will be 975 places available for this programme, with 13 groups of 25 people able to take part in each of the three categories – Supervisor, Manager, Leader.

Content

The content has been designed to build on and enhance the experience of managers at these levels, providing new skills, insights, tools and techniques, to allow them to get the best performance from themselves and the rest of their team.

Each programme is a series of ten training modules.  There are 6 core modules that everyone completes, and then 4 modules with content to suit the management experience of that level.

Dates

This is a series of 10 modules, which will take place weekly, for 10 weeks.  Each module will be 4 hours long, and will either be in the morning or afternoon.  Participants are expected to be able to attend all 10 modules.  Each module will be on the same day at the same time, to allow participants to plan their week.

The programme will begin on Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th or Thursday 18th February 2021, depending on the group.

Application deadlines are Friday 5th February 2021
