Moray Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that it will host its annual Business Dinner on Friday 4th October. The annual event will see 320 of the local business representatives expected to flock to Gordon Castle, Fochabers for the region’s largest black-tie dinner.
As ever the Moray Chamber Business Award will be presented during the event, recognising an organisation for its exceptional contribution to the Moray economy over the last year. Last year’s winner was Gordon and MacPhail who have exciting times ahead with the development of their new distillery on the outskirts of Grantown.
Alongside the award and the three-course dinner, there will be support given to a local charity via funds raised from the evening’s auction. Applications to become the chosen charity of the Moray Chamber of Commerce Business Dinner will be opened soon. The keynote speaker at this year’s event is Professor Heather McGregor, Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Professor McGregor has a Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong in Structured Finance and is an experienced writer and broadcaster, including writing for the Financial Times for 17 years. She is also the founder of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which works to promote diversity in the communications industry, and a founding member of the steering committee of the 30% Club, which is working to raise the representation of women at senior levels within the U.K.’s publicly listed companies.
This year’s Principal Sponsor of the event is North of Scotland Marquees (NOSM) who have kindly joined the Chamber for a second year, following the success of showcasing their quality event offering in 2018. Their expertise, along with the expertise of their sister company and Moray Chamber’s Premier Partner – North of Scotland Event Company (NOSEC), is assured with their experience of running premium events.
Sarah Medcraf, CEO of Moray Chamber commented that “We are delighted that NOSM and NOSEC are involved with our Annual Dinner. We are continually looking at ways to stay ahead and working with companies such as these allow us to do just that, because of their commitment and knowledge.”
“We’ve already attracted some great sponsors such as Johnstons of Elgin, Ritsons Accountancy and Forsyths and we are delighted to be hosting an event which promises to be the highlight in Moray’s business calendar once again”.
Tickets for this year’s event are now sold out but we still have sponsorship options available, get in touch for details.
