Applications Now Open for Moray Chamber of Commerce's Chosen Charity
Moray Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the exciting opportunity to be the supported charity at Moray’s premier black-tie event, the Annual Business Dinner 2026.
Taking place on Friday 2nd October 2026 at the stunning Gordon Castle, the evening will bring together around 400 distinguished representatives from across the local business community.
While the Annual Dinner continues to be a highlight of the Moray business calendar, 2026 also marks a special milestone for Moray Chamber as it celebrates its 25th Anniversary in June.
The evening’s centrepiece will be the presentation of the prestigious Moray Chamber Business Award, recognising a company that has made a significant contribution to the local economy over the past year. The award will be presented by Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants, this year’s official award sponsor.
As in previous years, the event will raise vital funds for a local cause. In 2025, as part of the Chamber’s 20th Annual Dinner Celebrations, the charity auction raised an incredible £13,500 for Step by Step in Moray, supporting their essential work, including free groups and one-to-one support for expectant and new parents.
Charities interested in being considered must demonstrate how their work positively impacts communities within Moray. Charities do not need to be members of Moray Chamber of Commerce to apply. The application process allows organisations to showcase their current initiatives and how they would utilise the funds raised.
Applications close at 5:00 PM on Friday 26th June 2026.
Sarah Medcraf, Chief Executive Officer at Moray Chamber of Commerce, said:
"As we celebrate our 25th anniversary year, it feels especially important to recognise and support the incredible work being done by charities across Moray. Our Annual Dinner is a powerful way for the business community to come together and make a real difference. We encourage all eligible charities to apply and be part of this special year."
Moray Chamber of Commerce extends its sincere thanks to this year’s sponsors:
Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants, Howden, Good Highland Food, SSEN, Forsyths, Diageo, Balfour Beatty, Harper Macleod, Brodie Countryfare, Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie, and Ledingham Chalmers.
