As we begin to navigate our way out of the pandemic, it’s vital to ensure you plan to protect your business for the future and have the knowledge and understanding to respond quickly and decisively. Join us as we hear advice from local experts from Johnston Carmichael, Harper Macleod, and Virgin Money who will provide some helpful tips around business resilience and how to prepare to limit any risks to the future of your business.

Our panels of experts include:

Peter McLuckie, Senior Associate at Harper Macleod. Peter is a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer with experience both as an in-house lawyer in industry and in Private Practice. Peter will guide you through the essentials of a Commercial Contract and legal options available when business relationships go wrong.

Shelley O'Neill, Business Relationship Manager at Virgin Money. Shelley joined Clydesdale Bank (now operating as Virgin Money) 21 years ago and works with businesses in the Moray area by providing financial help and support enabling them to achieve their strategic goals. Shelley will give an overview of funding and support options available to your business as we progress through the pandemic.

Carol James, Restructuring Senior Manager with Johnston Carmichael. Carol James is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Inverness and has worked at Johnston Carmichael for over 15 years. Carol will deliver some helpful tips around Business Resilience and run through “What is Insolvency” And what happens next?” so that directors/business owners and look out for signs and possibly take action early.
