Speakers
Ken Ross, OBE, DL - Ken has a portfolio of interests primarily in the built environment, including affordable housing, delivering sustainable mixed use developments, and renewable energy. He has also had a longstanding interest in climate change and served on the Sullivan Commission in 2007 and took part in COP 26 in Glasgow.
Heather Lowrie - The University of Manchester - Heather is the first Chief Information Security Officer at The University of Manchester. Heather joined UoM in May 2023 from The Scottish Government. As Head of Cyber Security, Risk and Resilience for National Records of Scotland, Heather supported the delivery of secure and resilient public services across Scotland and led a team responsible for protecting and securing Scotland’s national archival, statistical, and civil registration in formation.
Gordy Macdonald – Police Scotland Cybercrime Protection, Incident Support and Training Officer - Gordy has 30 years of service with Police Scotland, the last 4 years of his service within the National Cybercrime Harm Prevention Team. This team received national recognition for their commitment towards Cybercrime Harm Prevention and also a special recognition award for services to Cybercrime Harm Prevention.
