Bay to Bay 2026 – Enter a Team or Volunteer with Outfit Moray

11 June 2026 • Sarah Medcraf

Entries are now open for Bay to Bay 2026, Outfit Moray's new coastal challenge event taking place on Sunday 23 August 2026.

As Moray's outdoor learning and adventure charity, Outfit Moray is keen to encourage all, especially young people and families to get active outdoors, and we'd be delighted if you could help promote the event through your networks and contacts.

Bay to Bay celebrates Moray's stunning coastline and offers a range of challenge options suitable for different ages and abilities, though the Dolphin or Seal routes are most suitable for families or younger participants:

The Whale – Cycle or ultra-run from Spey Bay to Findhorn Bay (60–78km), with an optional Culbin Forest extension.

The Seal – Hike or run from Roseisle to Findhorn Bay (13–36km), with shorter route options available.

The Dolphin – A family-friendly walk and orienteering adventure in Roseisle Forest (5–10km), finishing with celebrations in Findhorn.

All routes include navigation and orienteering elements thanks to support from Moravian Orienteering Club, making the event a fun opportunity for young people to develop outdoor skills, confidence and teamwork while enjoying Moray's natural environment.

We would be grateful if you could:

  • Share the event with your networks..
  • Encourage school groups, sports clubs and youth organisations to take part.
  • Consider whether you may be interested in supporting the event through participation or on the day as marshals or checkpoint helpers.

All proceeds from Bay to Bay support Outfit Moray's work providing outdoor learning, adventure and personal development opportunities for young people across Moray.
