Make Sure Moray’s Business Voice is Heard
From the 1st April 2026, the General Rates Revaluation will introduce new Rateable Values (RVs) for all non-domestic properties across Scotland.
For many businesses across Moray, business rates remain a serious and ongoing concern - impacting overheads, investment decisions, growth plans and long-term sustainability.
To ensure Moray’s business voice is clearly heard at a national level, we’re asking you to complete a short Business Rates Insight Survey.

If you operate non-domestic property anywhere in Scotland, your input is valuable.
Why This Matters
This survey will gather vital evidence on the anticipated impact of the 2026 Revaluation, how changes in Rateable Values may affect business costs and planning, the ongoing challenges within Scotland’s non-domestic rates system, and where policy reform or additional support is most urgently needed.
The findings will help Scottish Chambers of Commerce represent Moray businesses in discussions with government and key decision-makers.
Sarah Medcraf, Chief Executive of Moray Chamber of Commerce said:
"We know business rates are a real concern for many firms across Moray. This survey is a simple but important way for businesses to share their experience and help us build a clear picture of what the 2026 revaluation could mean locally. The feedback gathered will also help strengthen the evidence behind Our Business Plan for Moray, ensuring the priorities we champion truly reflect the challenges and opportunities facing our business community.
