Decarbonising heavy goods vehicles
Scotland is accelerating its journey toward a zero-emission future for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and Transport Scotland are inviting businesses and operators to engage in three initiatives.
Small and Medium Enterprises can apply for up to £20,000 through the Fleet Analysis Support Scheme to help HGV operators fund tailored decarbonisation reports covering fleet analysis, zero-emission technologies, infrastructure needs, financing options, and transition planning.
Transport Scotland and Energy Savings Trust are also hosting an online HGV Decarbonisation Skills Forum on 4 December from 10 - 11:30am to explore transferable skills and hear from expert speakers. Contact Gordon Manson or Charlotte Taylor for more information.
Businesses can also contribute to Net Zero HGV supply chain research to help map Scotland’s current capabilities and identify gaps or growth opportunities by contacting Jeryll Fong.
