Scottish Careers Week 2025
Scottish Careers week takes place from 10 to 14 November to help promote the breadth of industries, career paths and opportunities across Scotland.
An online campaign toolkit on My World of Work provides a range of resources to help partners get behind the Week, including ways to connect with schools, social graphics and suggested messages to support #ScotCareersWeek25 on social media and other channels.
Organisations and employers hosting or involved in activities can register them on the events calendar on the campaign area to help highlight their support and encourage attendance

Scottish Aggregates Tax
Stakeholders in the construction industry should be aware of new legislation being introduced under the Scottish Aggregates Tax (SAT)
The legislation requires businesses to purchase primary aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel) only from SAT-registered taxpayers. If not, they may become liable for the tax themselves.
