Elgin Neighbourhood Board Seeks Project Proposals
31 July 2025 • Sarah Medcraf
Got an idea to improve Elgin? The Elgin Neighbourhood Board wants to hear from you.
As part of a bold initiative to shape the future of the town, the board - working in partnership with the local authority - is calling on residents, community groups, and local organisations to submit project proposals for inclusion in Elgin’s new 10-year Regeneration Plan.
The plan will guide activity and investment over the next decade, focusing on three key strategic objectives:
- Thriving Places
- Stronger Communities
- Taking Back Control
If you have a project that supports any of these goals - whether it’s community-led housing, a youth programme, a green space enhancement, or something completely unique, you’re encouraged to step forward.
This is a rare opportunity for locals to have a direct say in the long-term future of their town. The board stresses that all ideas, large or small, are welcome - as long as they align with the regeneration goals.

Submissions must be completed using the official project form, available to download as a PDF.
Completed forms should be emailed to regeneration@moray.gov.uk
Deadline for submissions: Tuesday 26th August 2025
