Final Call for Charity Ball Sponsor

FINAL CALL FOR SPONSOR TO STEP INTO THE SPOTLIGHT FOR CHARITY BALL

Local children’s charity Charlie House is inviting one final business to join the line-up of sponsors supporting its flagship fundraising event, The Big Charlie House Ball.

Taking place on Friday 13 November at The Chester Hotel in Aberdeen, this year’s Ball will celebrate ‘Moments That Matter’, recognising the precious moments and memories that mean the most to children, families and all of us.

With 1,800 children estimated to be living with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition across the North-east of Scotland, demand for Charlie House’s specialist support continues to grow.

The Big Charlie House Ball is one of the charity’s most important fundraising events of the year, raising vital funds to provide practical and emotional support to local children and their families at the most difficult of times.

Last year’s Ball raised enough to fund the equivalent of 76 days of Charlie House support -demonstrating the significant impact that sponsors, guests and supporters can collectively make.

John Brebner, CEO of Charlie House, said:

“Sponsorship plays a hugely important role in making The Big Charlie House Ball possible. The support of sponsors helps cover the costs of delivering the event, meaning more of the money raised on the night can directly support local children and families.

We now have the last remaining sponsorship opportunity, and we’d love to hear from a local business that wants to be part of what is always a very special evening.

There are of course fantastic benefits for the business involved – including the opportunity to reach an engaged audience, entertain colleagues or clients and enjoy a brilliant night – but, ultimately, it’s about the difference that support helps make.

Whether it’s giving a child an opportunity they never thought possible, helping a family make precious memories together or simply being there for a parent during an incredibly difficult time, our sponsors help make those moments possible.”

The final sponsor will join a host of businesses already backing the event, including The Auto Lounge and AV One Solutions, alongside generous sponsors who have chosen to support the Ball anonymously.

Businesses can also choose to donate their sponsored table to families supported by Charlie House, giving parents and carers the opportunity to enjoy a special evening away from their caring responsibilities.

With limited time remaining to secure a table, Charlie House is also encouraging local businesses and groups of friends who would like to attend the Ball to book before sales close. Guests can look forward to a memorable evening of entertainment and fundraising, while helping to make a meaningful difference to children and families across the North-east.

The evening will be hosted by award-winning broadcaster and presenter Lauren Mitchell, with live entertainment from UK party band Splash.

Businesses interested in securing the final sponsorship package are encouraged to get in touch with Charlie House as soon as possible. Anyone wishing to attend the Ball is encouraged to secure their place before bookings close on Friday 30 October. Tables of twelve are available at £1,200; half tables or individual tickets are also available. For sponsorship enquiries or table bookings, email fundraise@charliehouse.org.uk.
