Food and Drink Processing Scheme Scotland - now open for applications

Applications are now open for the Food and Drink Processing Scheme Scotland as part of a £9 million investment package. The Scheme is being delivered by Scotland Food & Drink on behalf of Scottish Government.
This investment offers match-funded capital grants to businesses backing projects to increase productivity, improve efficiency, and invest in new equipment and technology.
Grants of up to £400,000 are available to cover up to 40% of project costs.
Key dates:
Application deadline: 12pm, Friday 15th May 2026
Award decisions notified to applicants: July 2026
Date by which grants must be spent: 31st March 2027
