Have your say on proposed food price controls

The Scottish Government is consulting on proposals to introduce statutory price controls on selected essential food items sold by large supermarket chains.
We want to understand what the proposals could mean for businesses, consumers and the wider food supply chain. Our new chamber survey asks about the potential benefits and risks, possible effects on businesses, safeguards that may be needed and alternative ways to improve food affordability.
We want to hear from businesses across all sectors, with views from food producers, manufacturers, retailers, hospitality firms, distributors and supply-chain service providers particularly welcome.
Responses will help shape the Chamber Network’s submission to the consultation and its engagement with policymakers.
