15 September 2025 • Sarah Medcraf
Moray SWAP has introduced a new in-work upskilling project aimed at helping employed parents unlock their full potential in the workplace. The initiative provides funding and tailored support to assist parents in advancing their careers through accredited qualifications, vocational training, and industry-recognised certifications.
The programme is designed to make career development accessible and achievable for parents, offering step-by-step support throughout their journey.
How it works:
- Submit your details using the enquiry form.
- A member of the Moray SWAP team will contact you for an initial discussion to assess your eligibility and explore potential support options, including accredited qualifications, vocational training, and industry-recognised certifications.
- Engage in discussions with your employer (if appropriate) to outline the proposed support and opportunities for development.
- Attend a face-to-face meeting to complete the necessary paperwork and formalise your participation.
- Undertake the agreed training which may be accredited qualifications, vocational training, and industry-recognised certifications.
- Engagement and support continues as part of your journey to support career advancement.
This project is part of Moray SWAP’s commitment to supporting local parents in building skills, boosting confidence, and achieving professional growth.
