Introducing Our New Home

The region’s leading membership and networking organisation have relocated on to Elgin High Street. Moray Chamber of Commerce serve almost 200 businesses in the region by supporting, connecting, protecting and educating them. The move follows a successful Tourism Business Improvement District campaign that Moray Chamber of Commerce supported whilst Moray Speyside Tourism was under their auspices. The successful campaign and ultimately the support from the tourism sector saw the separation of the two organisations and has enabled them to run independently, whilst still working together for the good of the region.

Moray Chamber of Commerce is now based in Caledonian House on the West of Elgin High Street and shares the business centre with nine other businesses. A spokesperson for Gairland, the Business Centre’s management company says "We are delighted to welcome the Chamber of Commerce to their new home on Elgin High Street. The Chamber plays an important role in the life of this county, and we are humbled they have chosen Caledonian House Business Centre as a base from which to support local members and the wider economy."

Sarah Medcraf, CE of Moray Chamber of Commerce says: “A second move in six months may unsettle some members, but I want to assure them that this move is a positive one for Moray Chamber. We are now close to many of the stakeholders that we work with on a regular basis, we are supporting Elgin BID, we are accessible for those popping to the High Street for their bank or their accountant etc and we are very much open for business. We welcome all businesses in to visit us and to learn how we can help them”

Moray Chamber of Commerce run a range of events for businesses in the region with the next one being held in The Royal Hotel, Elgin on the 12^th March, following the UK budget to help businesses ‘Break down the budget.’
