Join Bike Week with Love to Ride

Love to Ride and Cycling UK are running Bike Week in June to celebrate everyday cycling for everyone. Please take one minute to register at www.lovetoride.net/Moray and invite your friends, family and colleagues to register too. You can win amazing prizes for riding and encouraging, including holidays, bikes, gear, vouchers and more – plus you’ll be helping to get more people on bikes. Also, Moray Council are working with Love to Ride in a new year-round rolling program of activity and engagement that aims to get more employees in the workplace cycling through workplace challenges. They run quarterly events that incentivize and reward cycling and help to promote other sustainable transport offers. Moray Council is funding them so it’s completely free for you or your organisation to take part and there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs. Love to Ride’s main event, Cycle September, is a fun, free team-building initiative that will have a positive impact on health and wellbeing, as well as reducing congestion and pollution. As part of the ongoing activity, Love to Ride are working with Cycling UK to deliver Bike Week this year. There’s free insurance for events throughout June so please add any you are planning to the Bike Week website so you receive some hard copy signup sheets: www.cyclinguk.org/bikeweek/register-event. Everyone who logs a ride in June is eligible for prizes from Love to Ride – there’s a £750 local bike shop voucher or a European city break, plus there will be prize announcements soon. There’s also a new Clubs & Groups feature on the Love to Ride website so you can invite any social cycling groups or volunteers to register as a group.
