Moray Reach Out Celebrates 25 Years – Get Involved

In 2026, Moray Reach Out (MRO) is proud to celebrate 25 years as a Scottish charity, supporting adults with disabilities to gain a real sense of purpose, pride, and belonging within their community.

To mark this milestone, we have launched our year-long campaign, The MRO Journey: Join the Circle of Giving, with a goal of raising £25,000 to help secure and grow our services for the future. Alongside this, we have developed an exciting programme of events and activities, offering opportunities for individuals, communities, and businesses to get involved.

Our 2026 calendar includes a range of community and fundraising events: 

Year Long

• 11 May – Staff Training & Wellbeing Day
• 17 May – Gordon Castle Event (MRO stall with products)

• Trainee BBQ (date TBC)

• 25 July – RAF Lossiemouth Friends & Families Day

• 29 August – Texas Scramble, Buckpool Golf Club, Buckie & Portsoy Wool Festival
• 30 August – Buckie Classic Car Event

September

• 11 September – Disco at Buckie Ex-Serviceman’s Club
• 26 September – Coffee Morning, Buckie

November

• 14 November – Ceilidh, Buckpool Golf Club, Buckie
• 21 November – Buckie Kracker (MRO shop open 11am–4pm with fundraising activities)

December

• Donate instead of sending Christmas cards initiative
• Lucky Squares Christmas Draw

Sponsorship Opportunity – Texas Scramble

We are currently seeking business sponsors for our Texas Scramble Golf Event on 29 August at Buckpool Golf Club. This event will bring together local businesses and community members for a fun and engaging day, while raising vital funds for MRO.
