Moray tree surgeons celebrate a successful decade in business

Multi award winning Moray tree surgery business Epic Tree Care has recently celebrated ten years of tree work in and about the local area.
With over 200 positive reviews during that period spread across numerous platforms, having won the trading standards and police backed “Moray Trusted Trader” scheme every year it has been running, Epic Tree Care are going from strength to strength as time goes on. The family-owned business, run from Elaine and Clive’s base in Grange was officially incorporated in December 2015 and turned ten years old in December 2025.
Talking about the experience Epic Tree Care director Elaine Rush said “It seems amazing that ten years have passed already honestly, you blink and it’s gone when you are busy. We work hard and really try our best for our customers and staff, and I think that shows. We, of course, have had speedbumps along the road, from being robbed of all our chainsaws and hedge gear back in 2020 when we were a much smaller business, and myself a bout of severe illness starting last year. I think if you care about what you do and people see that, you are very supported through anything that may hit you. It seems incredible, in 2015 it was just Clive and the yellow Unimog, now we have an employed staff team of 10, hiring for another team leader and another 5 freelancers who drop in and out, fleet of trucks and big machinery. It is in many ways a very different business to the one started in 2015, the soul is still there though, and I really think that is what is important and speaks to people. We hire like-minded people, and we try very hard to take care of them which really helps both our enthusiasm, and our employees / customers experience of Epic Tree Care. Feeling like you are making a positive difference to our tiny section of the world in trees is definitely quite a minor consideration in the scheme of things, but it really helps make work feel worthwhile and life feel fuller for all of us.“
Epic Tree Care was established on the 18th Dec 2015 and has now been serving the local community for 10+ years.
The Keith based tree surgery business employs 10 people and provides a comprehensive range of tree surgery, bush reductions, hedge trimming, and tree surveys throughout Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city.
Clive and Elaine will be available to chat on the stall at North Scotland Garden Show again this year (12 - 13 June 2026), and Elaine will be onstage for her second year, giving a talk on Tree Care as part of the event schedule of the show. They also have stalls at Turriff Show (2nd - 3rd August 2026), and Keith Show (8th - 9th August 2026).
