Set up by John McCook, John is an independent Food Safety Consultant with over 15 years of senior technical management experience within the food manufacturing industry. His background spans ambient-stable foods, bakery production, and primary meat and fish processing, with extensive expertise in high-care and high-risk manufacturing environments.

Frank Food Safety Solutions provides technical support to a diverse range of food businesses, helping them navigate the challenges of food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. In addition, Frank Food Safety Solutions are able to undertake third-party audits on behalf of major UK retailers, assessing compliance against retailer standards and GFSI-recognised certification schemes.

Expertise includes food safety management systems, audit readiness, compliance improvement, risk management, and continuous improvement, working closely with businesses to review and strengthen their systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical, sustainable solutions that support both compliance and operational excellence.
