Scarf shortlisted for National Fuel Poverty Award

18 August 2026 • Sarah Medcraf

Scarf has been shortlisted for National Fuel Poverty and Vulnerable Customer Support of the Year category at the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2026.

The shortlist recognises Scarf’s work supporting households experiencing fuel poverty and vulnerability, helping people access energy advice, financial support and energy efficiency improvements.

The national recognition follows another successful year at the regional Energy Efficiency Awards, where Scarf was named Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year for the second year running.

Scarf has supported thousands of households across Scotland through personalised energy advice, home visits, community outreach and targeted financial support, helping people reduce energy costs and stay warm.

Dave Sims, Contracts & Commercial Manager at Scarf, said:

To follow our second consecutive regional win with national recognition is a fantastic achievement for the whole Scarf team. It’s an acknowledgement of our growth to a national organisation and reflects the impact of the support we provide every day to households facing the pressures of high energy costs, and highlights the value of our coordinated approach.

We’re proud to have made the national shortlist and look forward to seeing the outcome of the awards

The winners of the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2026 will be announced later this year on Friday 9th October at the Hilton Birmingham.
