Scarf shortlisted for The Herald Scottish Impact Awards 2026

Scarf has been shortlisted for Climate Action Champion at The Herald Scottish Impact Awards 2026, continuing a growing wave of external recognition for the charity’s work tackling fuel poverty, improving energy efficiency and supporting communities across Scotland.

The shortlist recognises Scarf’s practical approach to climate action – helping households reduce their energy costs, access financial support and make their homes warmer and more energy efficient.

Through its work with households, communities and partners across Scotland, Scarf delivers practical support that creates both immediate and longer-term impact. In 2025–26, its Home Energy Advice Team helped generate more than £920,000 in financial benefits for households, while its wider energy efficiency programmes have helped unlock millions of pounds of investment in homes across Scotland.

The latest shortlist is further recognition of the scale and impact of Scarf’s work, following a period of continued growth for the charity.

The Herald Scottish Impact Awards 2026 celebrate organisations and individuals making a positive contribution to communities, society and the environment across Scotland.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday October 1st at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel.
