With the successful launch of the Xten Sales Intel Group in Forres this month, Ten (North) owner, Mike Duncan, sets his sights on bringing KLT Networking to his hometown of Elgin.
Designed for business owners, development mangers, and salespeople, local ‘ten’ groups are about sharing opportunities, gaining a competitive advantage, and winning more business. Their popularity is growing throughout Moray following strong success in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Commenting on the new Xten (Forres) group, Mike said:
“Getting my first 'ten' members on board is really exciting and I’m delighted to kick things off in Forres this month.
"Benromach Distillery is, of course, owned by the fantastic local company, Gordon & MacPhail. To have the distillery as our meeting place, for 1hour every fortnight, is a little bit special.
“Local Xten members include a marketing firm, a communications business, a travel agent, a postmaster, specialist HR advisers, a recruitment company, and non-competitive businesses involved in executive training and strategy development.
“Just one look around the table gives a snap-shot of business diversity in the Forres area, and in Moray as a whole”
With the Forres group up and running, Mike is now turning his attention to Elgin, saying:
“Elgin’s my hometown, so it’s great to start building my Eten group with some of the people and businesses close to my heart.
“The 'Trial Run’ next week is a chance for about 14 people to experience what a real meeting is like. I’ll take the lead and encourage everyone to get involved. It’s about building relationships, sharing intel, and having fun at the same time."
