TheSignalWorks launches free Knowledge Bank

1 July 2026 • Eaon pritchard

Many agencies publish a blog.

TheSignalWorks has launched something rather different. A resource.

Today the independent marketing consultancy unveiled the first ten editions of its new Knowledge Papers - a growing collection of evidence-based reports exploring why people really notice, remember and buy.

Drawing together marketing science, behavioural psychology and evolutionary theory, the series aims to make complex ideas accessible to founders, marketers and business owners.

Topics already published include:

  • What is a Category Entry Point?
  • What are Distinctive Brand Assets?
  • What is Costly Signalling?
  • What Is the Real Value of Influencers?

Founder Eaon Pritchard believes too much marketing advice has become disconnected from the evidence.

"There has never been more marketing content, yet much of it simply repeats fashionable opinion. We wanted to build a resource that explains what the research and evidence actually says - and, just as importantly, what it means in practice."

Unlike traditional agency blogs, each paper forms part of a structured publishing programme that will eventually span multiple printed volumes.

Future editions will explore subjects ranging from pricing psychology and memory to artificial intelligence, creativity and consumer behaviour.

All papers are available free of charge.

Pritchard says the aim is simple.

"We're trying to create the kind of resource we wish had existed when we started our careers. Something grounded in evidence rather than hype. Knowledge is porridge."

The series is free to access, with readers able to subscribe to receive future editions as they are published.
