Leading a business can be demanding. Finding time to step back, work through a challenge and decide where to focus isn’t always easy.
Turn potential into performance is a new workshop from the HIE innovation service, designed to help business leaders think and do differently. It’s a practical problem-solving session where you’ll work on your own idea, get support to refine it and leave knowing what to do next.
Your idea doesn’t need to be perfectly formed. Whether you’re exploring something new or improving an existing product or service, we’ll help you identify manageable steps to test its potential. It’s okay to start small.
What you’ll work on
- Exploring the opportunity: consider what you want your idea to achieve and what is holding it back
- Understanding your customers: use AI to build a deeper picture of existing and potential customers, including their needs, motivations and buying decisions
- Looking ahead: explore the trends shaping future opportunities and how your idea could respond to changing customer needs
- Deciding what comes next: prioritise practical actions to test and strengthen your idea before committing more time or money
What you’ll take away
You’ll leave with a clearer view of your idea’s potential and an action plan you can start putting into practice straight away. You’ll know which assumptions to test, where to focus your effort and how to take the next step towards business results.
There will also be opportunities to learn from other business leaders and gain fresh perspectives on the challenges you’re working through.
