"Duffus Estate Camping, now officially open for bookings from 29 May 2026! We’ve been busily working behind the scenes to create a truly special way for you to immerse yourself in the beauty of Duffus Estate.
Our slow-living campsite is the perfect place to connect with family and friends, to immerse yourself in nature and have fun in the richness that Moray has to offer. We can’t wait to welcome you to this new chapter of estate life.
For those who love the traditional charm of sleeping under canvas, our sheltered Walled Garden offers a peaceful haven. There are 30 level grass tent pitches. The former walled garden is both sheltered and sunny. The pitches are surrounded by historic fruit trees and a newly built camp kitchen. There is plenty of room to enjoy camping under canvas here, surrounded by nature.
If you prefer to bring your home on wheels, our Big Field features 20 touring pitches with electric and water hook-ups. All pitches are perfectly positioned to soak in those spectacular views across the Laich of Moray.
You are invited to come and relax on Duffus Estate Camping. You can stroll around the path network or play a match of lawn tennis. From the Estate you can walk to the cliffs along the Moray Coastal Trail, or cycle to Burghead along the cycle path. A short walk to Duffus Castle, explore the ancient mott and bailey there.
Explore our 18 acres of mature woodland with some amazing specimen trees, or meander around the 26 acres of grass paths in the Big Field. We are blessed to have an array of wildlife living on the Estate which you will hopefully encounter. These include Red Squirrels, Roe Deer, Buzzards, Owls and bats and if you are lucky you may even spot a Pine Martin."
